Sweetwood Silks specialises in painted silk scarves, signs & flags, as well as silk painting supplies and fabrics. We hold silk painting classes and workshops in the Toowoomba area and greater south east of Queensland.

Sweetwood Silks has been in operation since 1989 and has its own studio and gallery.
We sell painted silk products which have sold in Australia and overseas. We run classes from our workshop and in local schools, creative camps and at the University of Southern Queensland with overseas students. Sweetwood Silks has also completed commission art work for a resort in New Guinea, and for an interior designer at the Sunshine Coast. Our hand-painted flags, which are marketed by Out of our Minds, have gone all around the world. We can also provide silk dyes in 38 brilliant colours, silk fabric and scarves ready for painting; we can also provide workshops around Toowoomba and the surrounding area.

Our dyes are made here and have been proven to be long lasting and great colours made for the Australian climate.
